# Overview

Use a template when you want a proven structure faster than building from scratch. Templates can encode UGC formats, testimonial structures, product pitches, tutorials, skits, listicles, POV ads, and direct-response layouts.

A good template separates structure from specifics. The scene prompts describe the kind of shot and action, while ingredients hold the actor, product, copy, CTA, and b-roll. This lets the same template work across products and campaigns.

If a template does not match your product type, choose another one. A template for physical product unboxing may not be ideal for a SaaS app unless you replace product handling with screen-recording b-roll.
