# Campaign overview

Create a campaign when you want multiple ads that share the same product, audience, offer, or objective. Instead of scattering projects across the library, a campaign keeps the working context together: the brief, reference assets, research outputs, template recommendations, and the ads you create.

A typical campaign starts with a prompt or brief. Ava can then help research what to create, suggest UGC formats, recommend templates, let you add selected templates to a cart or queue, and generate projects after you tweak ingredients. You can also skip research and create a blank project, clone a video, or browse templates inside the campaign.

Campaigns are especially useful for launch campaigns, seasonal promos, retargeting, app installs, and lead generation. They are also the best place to create batches of creative variations because each project can use the same campaign context and asset set.

**Campaign path:** brief -> research what to create -> select templates to cart -> tweak ingredients -> generate projects -> review -> export generated projects.
